案例分享 | 海工平台压缩机噪声分析计算方法

某客户计划在当前平台上新增一台压缩机,懿朵科技联手VibraTec协助其进行相关甲板的噪声研究工作。新增的压缩机组将安装在上甲板,为一台燃气轮机驱动的2级4缸往复式压缩机。相关研究步骤及研究内容如下。

The first step of the study is to integrate the new compressor platform acoustic model on the existing main platform acoustic model. The model will incorporate:

  • the existing main platform (input from Client);

  • the compressor package;

  • the noisiest pipes, valves;


The second step is to collect all the acoustic data related to the new compressor platform:


  • Noise characteristics of the sources;

  • Insulation material used.

Most of the values will come from vendor data and VIBRATEC/CLIENT databases.


The last step is to incorporate these data in the model. Depending on their size and behaviour, sources will be modelled as:

  • point sources for small sources (valves, pumps…);

  • linear sources for piping;

  • surfaces for large sources (compressor).


Study in detail

The noise study’s aim is to anticipate the impact of the equipment and assess the noise levels in the platform area. Configurations to be studied will have to be agreed with CLIENT; e.g. Normal Production Phase/Emergency operations etc.

The acceptance limits shall be determined with CLIENT. The acceptance limits shall be in accordance with:

  • International codes and standards;

  • CLIENT general specifications.


The simulations will be used to:

  • Verify that the levels are in accordance with acceptance criteria;

  • Recommend compensatory measures;

  • Classify some areas as noise restricted areas if no solutions are considered to be acceptable.


When criteria are not met, modifications will be discussed with CLIENT. The final report will be issued in two revisions:

  • Draft Issue for CLIENT preliminary review and comment;

  • Final Issue for COMPANY approval.


The final report will contain:

  • Executive summary;

  • Methodology;

  • Assumptions;

  • Results;

  • Noise maps;

  • Recommendations and mitigation measures;

  • Conclusions regarding noise level acceptability.
